About Us
Discover our preschool and the people who create a unique space for your child
Tęczowy Ogród Bilingual Preschool has been operating since 2001 in Stary Mokotów. We are a leader in bilingual education and one of the first institutions of this kind in Warsaw. We established the educational foundations of Polish-English bilingualism in Poland, starting with preschool, and in 2009, we transferred our experience and expanded it to further stages of education at Warsaw Bilingual School. For over two decades, we have been creating an environment where language is a tool for play, building relationships, discovering the world, and bilingualism becomes a natural part of students’ daily lives.
Awards
Our vision of early bilingualism has been recognized three times with the European Language Label award for an innovative approach to foreign language teaching:
- 2004 – for the bilingual preschool education program
- 2009 – for the Young Scientist project
- 2014 – for overall activities and the Multilingual Financial Education for the Youngest project
The award is granted by the Minister of National Education and the EU Commissioner for Education and Culture. We are the only institution in Poland to have received this distinction three times.
Our Mission
Our Mission
Tęczowy Ogród Preschool is a place where the child is valued as a discoverer of the world. We carefully guide them through all stages of future education, and languages are the key to a better understanding of the world.
Multiculturalism is a daily practice here, which increases flexibility of thinking, social courage, certainty of one's own identity, and provides a better understanding of 'who I am.' We create an environment that opens minds, inspires, and teaches the courage to look beyond one's immediate surroundings.
Why Choose Us?
- we care about relationships, fostering a community of students and parents
- we provide an individual approach to each student
- we ensure continuity of multilingual education from preschool to high school
- healthy eating is important to us (we have our own kitchen) and daily outdoor activity (we have a large playground in our own garden)
- we immerse children in a foreign language, but it also carries content in projects related to art, mathematics, nature, literature, and music
- we provide tools for understanding reality by working on proprietary programs that address contemporary challenges and future competencies
- our psychological and pedagogical support is aimed at supporting the child, but also the parent – we provide guidance and show paths to achieving goals
- for 25 years, we have been running reception classes as the most important stage in building a child's self-esteem before starting school.
How we support children daily
- in emotions and a sense of security
- in natural language acquisition
- in independence, agency, and social competencies
- in creativity and curiosity about the world
- in motor and sensory development
- in healthy habits and daily routine
- in preparing for school calmly, without pressure
- in adapting to preschool according to individual needs and in adapting to the first grade of our school
- in diagnosing developmental difficulties through cooperation with our specialists
- in careful observation of the child and parent education through training and meetings with staff
