Pursuant to Article 22b of the Act of May 13, 2016 on counteracting threats of sexual crime and the protection of minors (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1304) and Article 7, point 6 of the Act of July 28, 2023 amending the Family and Guardianship Code and certain other acts (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1606), the Director of the Multilingual Education High School LEW implements the Child Protection Standards, the purpose of which is to ensure the safety of the school's students, care for their well-being, take their needs into account, and undertake actions in their best interest.

Core Principles

The child's well-being is paramount

All decisions are made with the student's safety and best interest in mind.

Respect for every student

Students are treated with dignity, and their needs and emotions are taken into account.

Zero tolerance for violence

The use of violence in any form is unacceptable.

Acting in accordance with the law

School staff act within the framework of applicable laws, internal regulations, and their competencies.

Purpose of the Standards

The Child Protection Standards at Warsaw Bilingual School define:

Principles for preventing violations of minors' rights,

Ways of responding in situations threatening student safety,

Actions aimed at creating a safe and friendly school environment.
